H2 Training
The project
The necessity of the use and further development of renewable energies is, in the face of ever-waning resources, more important than ever before.
Ten international organisations have joined together in a project partnership under the direction of the ”Fundacion San Valero” in an effort to make a contribution to the development, implementation and the dissemination of knowledge over renewable energies.
The goal of the international collaboration is the development of a curriculum for trainers who teach installation and service of fuel cells – a relatively new profession.
The concept of the training will be developed for varying levels of entry, types of teaching (apprenticeship or further education), and modes (classroom or distance learning). During the project period the practical efficiency of the concept will be reviewed within the framework of a pilot-course. The projects results will be introduced to the users of fuel cell technology through a trial-course at the EXPO in Zaragoza, Spain which will be held between the 14th of June until the 14th of September in 2008.
It will be translated into four languages and disseminated internationally in order to reach as many trainers as possible.
The objective of the project is closely bound to the current strategy of the European Union who, in accordance with the Kyoto-Protocol, directed their support to renewable energies.
